If you have seen our post from yesterday (click here if you haven’t!), then you’d be expecting another strawberries, bananas and yogurt creation today. So here we are, sweet and tangy little fellas for your little one’s breakfast or your next gathering. In fact, it didn’t occur to me until Shirley pointed it out, that these remind her of Christmas! Not sure if you’d find nice yet reasonably priced strawberries then, but hey, not a bad idea to lighten up your Christmas party. Mmm…strawberries and champange…And by the way, instead of using bananas and yogurt, you can totally use whipped cream – equally yum!
What You Need:
- Medium to large size strawberries
- Greek yogurt
- Chocolate chips
What To Do:
1. Wash your strawberries. I used Greek yogurt because Greek yogurt is more stiff than regular plain yogurt. If you are using whipped cream instead of yogurt as the filling, then you should skip the banana chunks.
2. Dice your bananas (not mash!) and mix in with the yogurt. You need more bananas than yogurt so that the filling can support the top of the strawberry later on.
3. Slice your strawberries into three parts as shown in the image. Save the greens of your strawberries for decoration.
4. Assemble time!
