Hyper-realistic Sculptures by Ron Mueck

Some of these photos seem to depict real life everyday people at first glance, but as you do a second take, you may begin to question what it is that you are looking at. Australian-born artist Ron Mueck is the sculptor behind these installations. He uses mixed media of silicone, fiberglass, acrylic, polyester resin to sculpt “hyper-realistic” faces, skin, hair, blemishes. These sculptures inspire as they illustrate raw humanity and emotions.
